MOSS-SIDE COTTAGE, SLAMANNAN, STIRLINGSHIRE
Thomas O'Grady, his wife Margaret Flemming Johnston and family, lived in this small cottage. The 1891 census shows that eight of their children and Thomas's mother, Mary Taylor, were all crammed together in this two roomed "but and ben". The family were recorded under the name of Geddes as they were in 1881, even though the children were born as O'Grady.
