This is my dad William Paterson in 1966/7 with the two boilers he made for the QE2, the pride of the Cunard fleet. The steam boilers were eventually replaced in 1986 as part of a major refit at the Lloyd Werft Shipyard in Bremerhaven, Gernany and at the time the $160,000,000 paid by Cunard was the biggest ever shipping contract.
